Jill A. Waters

Jill A. (Fraze) Waters, 70, of New Holland, passed away on April 21, 2025 at Zerbe Retirement Community.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Carl and Joyce (Smith) Fraze.

She was the wife of Samuel E. Waters, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

She was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church, where she was very active in the women’s ministry helping domestic violence victims, she was a classically trained pianist and taught piano. She played in the Ohio symphony when she was 10 years old. She was the owner of Borderbytes by Just Jill and a self-published author. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and going on cruises.

Jill is survived by her husband, Samuel, her children, Tyler Shaw husband of Jamie and Kristen Cartwright wife of Jason and their children Brooke and Elle, her stepchildren, Rachael Biddle wife of John and their children, John, Hannah and Ethan and Sarah Waters wife of Aron and their child RJ, her sister, Debbie McCoy and their beloved dog, Bear.

Jill is preceded in death by her father, Carl Fraze and her son, Jamie Shaw.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main Street, Morgantown PA 19543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Conestoga Mennonite Church Counseling Services.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
