Joan Ann Huyett

Joan Ann Huyett, 77, of Leola, passed away on June 17, 2025, at her son’s home.

Joan was born in Elverson, PA, to her late parents, John E. Lutz and Beatrice (Hillsworth) Lutz. She was married to her husband, Clement Huyett, on June 10, 1967, recently celebrating 58 years of marriage.

Joan was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a talented artist, excelling in drawing. She enjoyed writing and receiving cards and letters. Joan had a fondness for being in nature and watching butterflies.

In addition to her husband at home, Joan is survived by her children, James C. Huyett and his wife Amy, of New Providence, Paul J. Huyett and his wife Lisa, of Coatesville, Sherry Griffy, of New Holland, Sara Lee Mobley, of Ephrata, Clint E. Huyett and his companion Angie, of Quarryville, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, John Lutz and William Lutz and his wife Terri.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Noon at Welsh Mountain Christian Church (formerly Meadville Mennonite Church), 5726 Meadville Rd, Gap, PA with Pastor John Meck officiating. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral in the adjoining church cemetery.
