Joan R. Weidner

Joan R. Weidner, 82, a resident of Garden Spot Village, New Holland, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

She was the wife of the late James E. Weidner who died in 2018. Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Alfred E. and Ruth Sherry Mowery.

Joan had been employed as a Realtor for many years. She was a member of the Highpoint Baptist Church in Geirgertown. Joan enjoyed Bible studies, shopping, knitting, walking, playing the piano and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter, Deborah S. Weiss Kolmus wife of Russell, Jr. of Elverson; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy wife of Larry Wilson of Lewisburg, and Sherry wife of Andrew Bogush of Elysburg. She was preceded in death by a son, J. Todd Weidner.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Bethesda Baptist Church, 2140 Harmonyville Road, Pottstown, PA on Friday, March 19 at 10:30 A.M. The family will greet friends following the service.
