Joanne A. Hartman

Joanne A. Hartman, 85, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

She was the wife of the late William E. Hartman who died in 1986. Born in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Effie Kelley Heffner.

Joanne was a retired owner of WEH Supply in Denver. She had attended LCBC, Ephrata Campus. Her interests included gardening, camping, Bingo and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three sons, William E. husband of Robin DeHaven Hartman of New Holland, Ken L. husband of Jean Martin Hartman of Denver, and Mike A. husband of Mindy Shirey Hartman of Mohnton; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; a brother, Judson Keener of Sunbury; and a brother-in-law, Larry Klock of Sunbury. She was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Klock and Sarah Reichner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 14, at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Avenue, New Holland, PA. The family will greet friends following the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, PA.
