Joanne E. Wallace

Joanne E. Wallace, 83, of Narvon, formerly of Bernville, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John Clifford and Esther Bertha (File) Hall. Her husband, Robert L. Wallace, died Jan. 24, 1990.

Joanne graduated from Reading High School, Central Bible College, and Kutztown University. She worked as a School Teacher for approximately 40 years.

She enjoyed woodworking, ceramics and music, including playing the piano and organ. She was involved in the Assembly of God Church as a Sunday School Teacher and was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are three children, Timothy C., married to Jane A. (Budgeon) Wallace of Kutztown, Bobbi Jo E., married to William Hurst of New Holland, and Thomas L. Wallace of Birdsboro; five grandchildren, Matthew and Nicole Wallace, Amanda Binkley, and Tanya and Ashley Hurst; and three great grandchildren, Hunter, Carter, and Kai.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 10:30 am at New Life Assemblies of God, 50 New Holland Ave, Reading, PA. Interment will be in the Berks County Memorial Gardens.
