Jody W. Long

Jody W. Long, 56, of East Earl, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024. His wife of 28 years, Lisa M. (Jones) Long, survives.

Born in Homestead, PA, he was the son of the late Buck and Patricia Long.

Jody currently was employed by Duramax Concrete Coatings, doing floor restorations for customers. He was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship Church.

He had many hobbies and interests, but above all of them, he loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed reading, writing poetry, gardening, wood working, and making metal sculptures.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Kiera, Casey, Gene married to Trish, John and William married to Vanessa; five grandchildren: Kollin, Mikey, Gemma, Joseph, Haley; and two siblings: Jill Leeper and Jeff Long.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, John, Jr.

His funeral will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Grace Fellowship Church. A viewing will be held at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Bethany Grace Fellowship Church, 400 Reading Rd., East Earl, PA 17519.
