John W. Garrett

John W. Garrett, 70, of Lancaster, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at Lancaster General Hospital. His wife, Judy A. (Straubel) Garrett, survives.

Born in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of Irene (Taylor) Garrett of New Holland and the late Arthur Garrett.

John served as a pastor for two years in Canada, then returned to the U. S and was a postal carrier.

He was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel.

John enjoyed gardening, was an avid Bible reader, and committed scripture to memory.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Michael and a brother Gary.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie (Dyck) Garrett and a son, Jeffrey Paul Garrett.

His funeral will be private with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, New Holland. Kindly omit flowers.
