John J. Pinkas, Jr.

ohn J. Pinkas, Jr., 71, of East Earl, passed away at Sinking Spring Nursing and

Rehab on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

He was the husband of Sharon Staines Pinkas of East Earl. Born in Baltimore, MD,

He was the son of the late John J., Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Pinkas.

John had a long and varied career in the fields of machine maintenance and engineering. He enjoyed working with electronics, ham radio and photography.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, John J. III husband of Janina Pinkas of Shrewsbury, and Joshua R. husband of Angela Pinkas of Fredericksburg; five grandchildren, Jelena Spinelli, Benson Pinkas, Joshua J. Pinkas, Kaylee Pinkas, and James Pinkas; a brother, Jerry husband of Sheila Pinkas of Myrtle Beach, SC and a sister, Joan Pinkas of Murrells Inlet.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, at 11:00 A.M. at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA.  Interment in Petra Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
