John B. Powers

John B. Powers, 49, of New Holland, passed away on October 12, 2023 of pancreatic cancer.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late David C. and Kathryn Ann (Finkey) Powers.

He was the loving husband of Gloria K. (Kayaga) Powers, with whom he shared four years of marriage.

He was a faithful employee of Pepperidge Farm for twenty-four years. He loved motorcycles, was an avid Chiefs fan, but most importantly loved being a father to his son, Jayden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jayden B. Powers, his stepchildren; Gabriella P. Mirembe and Garell D. Lyle, his siblings; Bridget wife of Christopher Sisler, Scott Powers and Ketrah Vanderbaan, nieces and nephews; Samantha, Miranda wife of Ian, David, Felicity, Ayra and Christopher and his ex-wife; Nicole Powers.

He is predeceased by his parents and siblings; Jennifer Powers and David C. Power Jr.

Services will be held at a later date.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
