John E. Wagner, Jr.

John E. Wagner, Jr., of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late John E. and Ruth Beideman Wagner. He was the partner of Janet E. Seeds.

John retired from Lukens Steel after 41 years of employment. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the New Holland American Legion Post 662.John was also a member of Hibernia United Methodist Church.

Surviving besides his partner is a son, Rodney husband of Christine Wagner of Coatesville; a grandson, Garrett Wagner husband of Stephanie ; great grandchildren, Aiyanna, Dakota and Thoren Wagner; step granddaughter, Monique C. Duffett wife of Charles; a step grandson, Stephen E. Towey; and step great grandchildren, Phillip and Karen Nesbitt, and Caleb, Abigail and Nathan Towey; a brother, Andrew Wagner and two sisters, Barbara Skiles and Patty Burton.

A Graveside Service will be held on July 29th, promptly at 11:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA.

Following the service will be a celebration of life at American Legion Post 662 Conestoga 35 S.Hoover Ave New Holland Pa. 17557
