John D. Yohn

John D. Yohn, 82 of New Holland, passed away at home on May 28, 2025.

He was the son of the late William and Wilda (Gregg) Yohn.

He was the husband of Tootie (Sandoe) Yohn, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

He worked for Central Penn Transportation for many years as a truck driver. In his earlier years, he enjoyed drag racing. He enjoyed hunting and listening to blue grass music. He was a member of the Gap VFW Post 7418 and was a part of the Wings of Bluegrass and Blue Mountain Express Band.

John is survived by his wife, Tootie, his daughters, Darbi L. Trego widow of Ralph Trego and Valerie S. Burkholder wife of Mike Burkholder, grandchildren, R. Corbett Trego, Zachary M. Burkholder husband of Jen and Danica S. Taylor wife of Ryan, great grandchildren, Corbett, Jonathan, Javin, Kylee, Emma and Noah and his sister, Frieda Gerhart.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Ellen Coleman, Bill Yohn and Janet Groff.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Beck Funeral Home 315 E Main Street, New Holland PA 17557. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery.
