Joseph C. Knox

Joseph C. Knox Jr., 84 of Stevens, formerly of New Holland, passed away on August 24, 2022 at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph C. Knox Sr. and Elizabeth (Prutzman) Knox.

He was the husband of the late Hilda R. (Gardner) Knox who passed away on January 6, 2014 and Theresa M. (Waller) Burgstahler, who passed away on March 13, 2020.

He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church, where he was an adult Sunday School Teacher. He was employed as a Drivers License Renewal Clerk for Brimmers Drivers License for nineteen years until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed attending car shows and car cruises.

Joseph is survived by his children: Paris-Anne Foerst, Ellen M. McComsey, Wendy B. wife of Tim Martzall, and Corey A. husband of Amy Knox. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and his siblings: Ethel Kovacs and Elaine Stang.

In addition to his wives and his parents, he is predeceased by his son: Keith A. Knox and siblings: Elizabeth Feehly and John Knox.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Memory Gardens, 319 Wabash Road, Ephrata PA 17522.
