Joshua Adam Mcelyea

Joshua A. McElyea, 33, of Narvon, died Monday, April 22, 2019 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Leacock Twp.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Dennis J. McElyea of Narvon, and Laurie A. Kashinckie Ford of Sparta, NC.

Joshua was an electrician and was employed by Whitley East in Leola. He enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, cliff diving and riding motorcycle.

Surviving besides his parents is a companion, Heather Lauer; five children, Dominic, Aidan, Mason, Hailey & Cash; a step mother Shirley P. McElyea; two sisters, Melissa wife of Dylan Spencer of NC, and Leanna wife of Dio Rodriguez of Galax, VA; two brothers, Justin McElyea of Honey Brook, Matthew McElyea and, and 10 nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26, at 7:00 P.M. at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA with the Rev. Deane Boyd officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
