Juanita Watson

Juanita Watson, 71, of Collingswood, New Jersey, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Cooper University Hospital.

Born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry Augustus and Dorothy Mae (Leisey) Watson and the sister of the late Ellamae Watson Blank.

Juanita studied nursing at The Reading Hospital School of Nursing; medical-surgical nursing and nursing educator at University of Pennsylvania; and nursing research and theory development at New York University where she received her PhD.

Juanita enjoyed traveling, Broadway musicals, classical music, watching tennis, and spending time with her family.

Surviving is a nephew Randolph Blank; a great niece Cortley Fisher, two great nephews Eric Blank and James Blank; 5 great great nephews and 1 great great niece.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
