Judy Ann Huyard

Judy Ann Huyard, 77, of New Holland, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mt Joy, after a lengthy illness.

Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl (Buller) Miller. Her husband, Isaac A. Huyard, died Feb. 18, 1982.

Judy worked as a mail clerk for over 25 years at Goodville Mutual in New Holland, retiring in 2002.

She attended the Evangelical United Methodist Church and enjoyed flower gardening and birds along with spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren planting flowers. Her acts of kindness went above and beyond, a heart of Gold.

Surviving are three children, Deborah Mayes of Bowmansville, Barbara Huyard of Lancaster, and Brian Huyard of New Holland; 6 grandsons, Nate Skiles of Bryn Mawr, Russ Skiles of Lancaster, Zack and Seth Huyard of New Holland, Juan Mayes of Lititz, and Nick Bowman of Coudersport; 5 great grandchildren, Zachary, Anya, Ivy, Iris, and Lily; two sisters, Sandra Kling, and Susan, married to David Kopp both of Mt. Joy; and a brother, Michael, married to Joan Miller of Mt. Joy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 11 am at Ridgeview Mennonite Church, 3723 Ridge Road, Gordonville with visitation from 10-11 am. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
