Karen J. Mckillips

Karen J. McKillips, 54, of New Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2012 having lost her battle to cancer.

Karen had a loving and giving heart, she gave stray animals a home and would give you her last dollar.

She mentioned two of the best days of her life were accepting Christ as her Savior and being baptized.

Karen was also thankful to all the saints who sent prayers to heaven on her behalf.

She was employed by Ephrata Walmart.

Karen was the daughter of Erma J. McKillips of Kinzers and the late Roy R. McKillips, Jr.

She also leaves behind a brother and two sisters: Roy R. McKillips III and Barbara McKillips, both of Kinzers and her twin Debbie Shoemaker wife to Robert Shoemaker of New Holland, and a nephew Robert Shoemaker, various aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Karen will be lovingly missed by family and friends.

East, Lancaster, PA 17602; the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603 or to The Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
