Kathleen M. (Brendle) Burkey, 67, formerly of Lititz, passed away on April 13, 2023 as a resident of The Gardens of Stevens.

She was the daughter of the late Harrison and Eleanor (Dannocher) Brendle.

She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Eugene Burkey, until his passing on April 11, 2004.

Kathleen was last employed as a caregiver for Abilities in Motion in Reading and was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church. She enjoyed reading Theology, was an expert on Charles H. Spurgeon the “Prince of Preachers”, cooking for others and sharing the Gospel with others. In the past 7 years she enjoyed going to Green Dragon with her great nephews & nieces.

She is survived by her church family and her nieces and nephews: Alicia, Sabrina, Shane, Troy, Coty, and Gary.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her brothers; Dennis and Jeffry, and sister; Brenda Brendle.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Bible Church, 529 Lauschtown Road, Denver PA 17517 with Pastor Jahn Horgen officiating. Burial will be held in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
