Kathryn S. Martin

Kathryn S. (Martin) Martin, 55, passed away at home on May 6, 2025 after a five year battle with cancer.

Born in Mt. Joy, she was the daughter of the late Alvin H. and Edna (Sensenig) Martin.

She was the wife of Edwin M. Martin, they would have shared 30 years of marriage in July.

She was a member of Fairmount Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference) and was a homemaker. She enjoyed working in her kitchen and blessing others.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Edwin, her children, Francine (Kenton) Reiff of Mt. Joy, Laurel (Delbert) Burkholder of Kempton, Thane (Regina) Martin of Quarryville and Jordan Martin of Mt. Joy, three grandchildren and her siblings, Nadine (Thomas) Weaver of New Holland, Cleon (Shelia) Martin of Manheim, Vernon (Alicia) Martin of Reading and Brenda Weaver of Ephrata.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant brother Alvin H. Martin Jr. and three grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Fairmount Mennonite Church, 520 Little Britian Road N, Quarryville PA 17566 with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 PM at Little Britian Fellowship Center, 356 Nottingham Road, Quarryville PA 17566.
