Kathryne V. Sollenberger

Kathryne V. “Kitty” Sollenberger, 90, of New Holland, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Garden Spot Village after a brief illness.

Born in Upper Leacock Twp., she was a daughter of the late Anna Mary (Goretzke) and Charles McNeal. She was married 65 years to the late Melvin Sollenberger, who died April 28, 2012.

Kitty graduated from Upper Leacock High School in 1943. As a homemaker, she enjoyed flowers, yard work and being with family. She was a lifelong member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, Hellers, Leola.

Surviving are four children, Gary, married to Brenda (Stauffer) Sollenberger of Liberty, Kathy Griesemer of Manheim, Karen, married to E. Ray High of East Earl, and Susan, married to Ron Di Angelo, Jr of York; three grandchildren, Joshua, Erin, and Kylie; and two great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is a grandson, Cody Di Angelo.

A private graveside service will be held at the Salem Evangelical Reformed Cemetery at the convenience of the family with the Reverend Bruce Tully officiating. Kindly omit flowers.
