Katie M. Martin

Katie M. Martin, 86, of 530 Reidenbach Rd., New Holland, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Martin in 2005.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Martin) Martin.

A homemaker, she was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving is a brother, Henry M. married to Elizabeth Z. Martin, East Earl, two step-sons: Jerre W. married to Emma H. Martin, Ephrata and John Mark married to Etta N. Martin, New Holland, 19 step-grandchildren, 54 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three siblings: George M. Martin, Annie Martin and Hettie Sensenig and four step-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at her late home with further services at 9 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at her late home on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
