Kenneth Richard Christman Sr.

Kenneth Richard Christman Sr., 73, of New Holland, passed away on September 24, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Kenneth Milton Hubert Christman and Pauline “Bunny” C. (White) Christman.

He was the husband of Linda J. (Hohl) Christman, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage.

A graduate of Coatesville Area High School, he and Linda owned the Golden Villa Motel in Clearwater Beach, FL for 19 years. Ken was a proud lifetime member of both the Downingtown Moose Lodge, where he served as the club manager for over 15 years, and of the Modena Fire Company Station 37. Additionally, he was a member of the Reinholds VFW and the New Holland American Legion. He had served as the secretary for the United Steel Workers and he also held many positions for the Borough Council of Modena. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Phillies, and traveling with Linda.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Linda, children, Michelle C. wife of Steven O. Wolownik, Kenneth R. Jr. husband of Sally A. Christman, Rebecca J. Haughey and Kristin A. wife of Mark D. Johnson, grandchildren, Alexa, Stephanie wife of Dylan, Devon wife of Jake, Nicole, Zane, Geoffrey, Benjamin, Alex, Connor and Brayden, great grandchildren Logan and Maeve. Also surviving are his siblings, Sam Christman, Paula wife of Jonny Jones, Lynn Carr, Margaret Hill, Marti Henck, Barbara Bolton, extraordinary friend, Mary Ann Zwierzyna and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Downingtown Moose Lodge, 233 W Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown PA 19335. In loving memory of Ken, feel free to wear your Phillies or NASCAR gear, two sports he loved.
