Kenneth Lincoln DeHaven, 56, of Kennett Square, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at his home after a brief illness.
Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of George, married to Jane (Mimelright) DeHaven, and Betty (Rettew), married to Howard Kinsey.
Lincoln owned and operated, for many years, Fine Line Design in Kennett Square. He enjoyed creating artwork and also taught a dance class at the YMCA.
Surviving are 17 brothers and sisters, Betty Rose Maine of California, George, married to Sandra (Hardy) DeHaven of New Holland, Darla, married to Melvin Ash of Leola, Edna, married to Morris Kinsey of Morgantown, Cathy Witwer of Churchtown, Charlene, married to David Ross of Gap, Walter, married to Denise (White) DeHaven of Mohnton, Robin, married to William Hartman of New Holland, Kirk, married to Wendy (Giles) DeHaven of Morgantown, Ken, married to Ruth Henry of New Holland, Thelma, married to James Coon of Millsboro, DE, Miller, married to Karen (Diehm) Henry of Blue Ball, April Henry of New Holland, Earl DeHaven of New Holland, Shane, married to Diareha DeHaven of Reading, Eric, married to Jenna DeHaven of Millsboro, DE, and Edward DeHaven of Lancaster.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 22 at 4 pm at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 249 E. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Ann T. Few officiating. The family will receive guests at the Church from 3-4 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the YMCA, 101 Race St., Kennett Square, PA 19348.
