Kenneth L. Reeser

Kenneth L. Reeser, 77, of Leola, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care in Lancaster.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Raymond and Rosa (Diem) Reeser. He was married 57 years on April 7 to Elizabeth (Simpson) Reeser.

Kenneth worked at the former Frank Ix and Sons silk mill in New Holland and later drove Amish taxi for several years for Lantz Structures in Leola.

He was a loyal member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church and he enjoyed history and sports, especially baseball and the Phillies.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Fred E. Reeser at home.

Preceding him in death is a daughter, Brenda J. Reeser in 2004.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 10 am at the Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola with the Reverend Thomas Eshleman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 9-10 am all at the Church.
