Kristine "Kristy" M. (Messner) Walton

Kristine “Kristy” M. (Messner) Walton, 37, of East Earl, passed away peacefully at Wellspan Ephrata Hospital on September 1, 2024 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of John R. Messner Jr. and Tina M. (Angeli) Anderson.

She was the wife of Thomas H. Walton II, with whom she married on May 20, 2017 and shared 18 years together.

She had worked at Hickory House Nursing home for 15 years as a CNA and had recently worked at New Holland Elementary and Garden Spot High School as a teacher’s aide for special education students. She was a member of the New Holland Legion Riders and enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the beach. She loved being a caregiver and helping everyone around her, especially her whole family.

Kristy is survived by her husband, Thomas, father, John R. Messner Jr. husband of Bridget M. Messner, mother, Tina M. Anderson, children, Andrew J. Messner, Lucas E. Walton and Kandis M. Walton, grandson, Elliot J. Walton and siblings, Joshua Anderson, Ashley Fuller and Ryan Freidly.

She is preceded in death by her brother, DJ Messner.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581.
