Larry Eugene Weinhold

Larry E. Weinhold, 84, a resident of Fairmount Homes, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

He was the husband of the late Eunice F. Good Weinhold who died in 2018. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Russell and Florence Youndt Weinhold.

Larry retired from Conestoga Wood where he had been employed for over 25 years. He was a member of Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, following all the Philadelphia Sports Teams. He had been an Eagles season ticket holder for many years. Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He enjoyed organizing Veteran’s Day Events at his church and in his community.

Surviving is a son, Anthony S. husband of Alissa (Supplee) Weinhold of New Holland; a granddaughter, Kylie Weinhold of New Holland; and a sister, Susan Bitts of Ephrata. He will also be missed greatly by a grand dog, Domino. He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew and by a brother Ronald.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Church, 1194 Reading Road, Bowmansville, PA with Rev. Jonathan Yoder officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will Military Honors in Bowmansville Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to the United Veterans Council, c/o Lamar Martin, 582 Valley View Drive, New Holland, PA 17557.
