Laura H. Nolt

Laura Hoover Nolt, 18, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, February 13, 2012, while visiting in Ephrata, PA. Laura was born on December 12, 1993, in Memphis, Missouri, the daughter of Curvin W. and Ada F. (Hoover) Nolt. She is a member of the Oakview Mennonite Church, Edina, Missouri. She lived most of her life in the Memphis, Missouri area before moving to the farm northwest of Edina, Missouri in 2010. Laura is survived by her parents, Curvin and Ada Nolt of Hurdland, Missouri; three brothers, Jonathon H., Nolan H. and Marvin H. Nolt; five sisters, Lonita H., Melinda H., Rhoda H., Joanna H. and Regina H. Nolt; grandparents, Marvin S. and Martha Weaver Nolt of Peach Bottom, PA and Martin N. and Martha Fox Hoover of Leola, PA; 16 paternal aunts and uncles; and 20 maternal aunts and uncles. Laura was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria H. Nolt on September 24, 1991 and two uncles, Ezra Sensenig on November 4, 2002 and Harry F. Hoover on September 25, 1995. Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center, Memphis, Missouri with Nelson Beachy, Noah Miller, Jr., Carl Hoover and Nathan Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Midway Mennonite Reception Center, 210 E. Lexington Road, Lititz and again on Friday, February 17, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center, Memphis, Missouri. Burial will be in the Oakview Mennonite Cemetery, Edina, Missouri. The family requests no flowers, only your thoughts and prayers. Local arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
