Leah S. Nolt, 91, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Lincoln Christian Home. Leah was born in Earl Township to her late parents, John M. and Leah M. (Shirk) Nolt.
Leah worked as a seamstress and enjoyed counted cross stich, sewing, and completing puzzles. She was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Leah is survived by her nieces and nephews; Mary Etta Fox and her husband Frank, of Greenwood, WI, Arlene M. Hoover and her husband Moses, of Myerstown, Leonard M. Nolt and his wife Ruth, of New Holland, John C. Nolt and his wife Alta, of Stevens, Myron R. Nolt and his wife Esther M., of Lititz, Lorraine M. Wise and her husband Maynard, of Lebanon, Gerald M. Nolt and his wife Thelma M., of Lititz, Clair W. Nolt and his wife Janet, of Myerstown, Esther W. Brubacker and her husband Henry, of Edgar, WI, Louise W. Martin and her husband Henry, of Quarryville, Eugene Brubaker, of Kinzers, and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Leah was predeceased by her siblings, Harvey S. Nolt, John C. Nolt, Daniel S. Nolt, Ella Martin, Mary S. Nolt, Frances Buckwalter, Emma S. Nolt, Sue Etta Nolt, and Vera S. Nolt, and her nieces, Ella W. Nolt, and Mildred Brubaker.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, beginning at 9:30 AM at Groffdale Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference), 90 Groffdale Church Road, Leola, PA, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Lincoln Christian Home, 1307 Apple Street, Ephrata, PA. Burial will occur in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lincoln Christian Home for their exceptional and loving care of Leah. Your kindness is a blessing.
