Leif Ericksen

Leif Ericksen, 88, of Lancaster, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Ernst and Jenny (Hovda) Ericksen of Stavanger Norway.

Leif worked as a Home Heating Technician for Mobil Oil Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1989. After his retirement he had a happy 25 years in New Holland.

He was an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed gardening.

Surviving is his wife, Ruth V. (Vonhof) Ericksen of Lancaster; a son, John L., married to Geri (Eigenberger) Ericksen of Santa Fe., NM.

Preceding him in death is a son, Mark V. Ericksen in 1986; a daughter, Lisa R. Ericksen in 2015; a sister, Ethel Bjornson; and a brother, Thor Ericksen.
