Leon S. Weber

Leon Weber, born on August 31, 1934, peacefully passed away at home on May 22, 2024 at the age of 89, surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindness, inspiration, and faith.

Leon was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Norma Weber; two brothers and a stepdaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Nancy Rupp Weber. Leon's legacy continues through his four children, 19 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren, I stepchild and 2 step-grandchildren.

Leon had a profound and intimate relationship with his Lord Jesus, a faith that was evident in every aspect of his life. His deep spiritual walk was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his legacy of faith in his offspring is a testament to his character and commitment to his beliefs.

Leon enjoyed riding horses throughout his life. His children and his friends have many tales to tell about their adventures. In his later years, he discovered a passion for bowling.

Leon’s life was marked by an entrepreneurial spirit that was evident in his church life and business life. He successfully started and ran numerous businesses with his brothers. In his church life he helped to start numerous ministries. He was also intimately involved in nurturing the general life of the church. His contributions to both his community and his family will be remembered with gratitude and admiration.

A celebration of Leon's life will be held at Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, PA, on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 11 AM. The family will greet friends following the service.
