Levi M. Martin

Levi M. Martin, 90 of Morgantown passed away on August 21, 2014 at his home.

Born in Clay Twp., he was the son of the late Aaron H. and Mary (Martin) Martin. He was married 64 years on Nov. 10 to Martha S. (Brubaker) Martin.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Churchtown Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Surviving in addition to his wife are nine children, Vera, married to Lawrence Martin of Lebanon, Wilma, married to Irvin Martin of Ickesburg, Aaron Martin of East Earl, Suetta, married to Elvin High of Reinholds, Mary, married to Noah Martin of Red Creek, NY, Elam, married to Elizabeth Martin of Morgantown, Ella, married to Eugene Martin of Manheim, Ruth, married to James Horning of Port Byron, NY, and Noah, married to Mary Brubaker of Morgantown; 45 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren; two sisters, Susanna Sensenig and Hettie Wenger; and a brother, Isaac Martin.

Preceding him in death are four grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters, Barbara, Jacob, Maria, Sarah, Daniel, Martin, Abraham, and John.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25 at 9 am at Sunny Crest Homes, 2587 Valley View Rd, Morgantown, with further services at 9:30 am at Churchtown Mennonite Church with the Bishop Leon S. Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at Sunny Crest Homes on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers.
