Levi J.C. Raber

Levi J.C. Raber, 67 of 1174 Pieffer Hill Road, Stevens, formerly of OH, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Life Care Hospital of Pittsburgh due to complications from an auto accident.

Born in Charm, OH, he was the son of the late John and Fannie (Mast) Raber. He was married 49 years on April 18 to Emma (Miller) Raber.

Levi attended Living Hope Fellowship. He and his wife owned and operated the Golden Rule Auto Sales in Lore City, OH.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 10 children, Katie, married to Ervin Mast of Danville, OH, Mary, married to Andrew Mast of Pleasant City, OH, John, married to Lydia (Mast) Raber of Narvon, PA, Edna Raber of New Holland, PA, Martha, married to Levi Schwartz of Salesville, OH, Rachel Raber of Lore City, OH, Ruth, married to Scott Berninger of Lore City, OH, Esther Raber of new Holland, PA, Sarah Raber of New Holland, PA, and James, married to Meredith (Paul) Raber of Barnwell, SC; 33 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and six brothers and sisters, Amanda Hershberger, Abraham Raber, Mattie Mast, Ella Mast, John Raber, Jr., and Katie Miller.

Preceding him in death is a brother, Alvin Raber.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 1 pm at the Living Hope Fellowship, 1488 Reading Road, Mohnton. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
