Lillian H. Parmer

Lillian H. Parmer, 82, of Narvon, formerly of Gap, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 after a brief illness at the home of her son Kevin.

Born in Montgomery County she was a daughter of the late Eva P. (Kessler) Hampton. Her husbands, Clarence L. Parmer died in 1966, and L. Ross Parmer died in 2008.

Lillian was a homemaker and a member of Pequea Evangelical Congregational Church and a former member of the White Horse Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed house cleaning and camping in the mountains.

Surviving are four children, Jerri, married to Cindy L. (Weaver) Parmer of East Earl, Cynthia D., married to Ernest Lutz of Pine Grove, Robin J., married to Jose Silva of Leola, and Kevin L., married to Denise (Groff) Parmer of Narvon; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy B. Reed of Reading.

Preceding her in death is a brother, Raymond L. Kessler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 11 am at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. Interment will be in the Zeltenreich Cemetery.
