Linda Marie Powers

Linda M. Powers, 74, of New Holland, passed away at home on Monday, December 9, 2024.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence B. “Larry” Powers who died in 2010. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth Wagner Bowman.

Linda was a graduate of Garden Spot High School. She had been employed as a bartender at the Reamstown Athletic Association for many years and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is a son, Shane B. husband of Sherry Powers of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Shelia J.S. Shank of New Holland; four grandchildren, Cheyenne, Achillies, Samara, and Michael; and siblings, Rick Bowman, Jim Bowman and Judy Meck.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 16, at 7:00 P.M. at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday at 12:30 P.M. Friends are invited to meet at the Groff High Funeral Home at 10:45 A.M. to process to the cemetery. In leu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the New Holland American Legion.
