Lisa K. Klett

Lisa Kay (Sweigart) Klett passed away on Sunday morning, February 26, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Born on September 13, 1955, she was the daughter of Jane L. Sweigart and the late Gerald Sweigart. She was preceded in death by first husband Terry Youndt in 1990 and second husband Robert Klett in 2016.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Jane L. Sweigart of New Holland; her sister, Sheila Carson of Granbury, TX; her daughter Jennifer Lynn, wife of Brian Deibler, of Ephrata; her son Jeremy Youndt, husband of Jen (Darby) of Ephrata; as well as her companion Joe Heilman and bonus daughter Tiff Heilman of Kempton. She is also survived by her beloved basset hounds, Henry and Hootie, and her greatest loves, grandchildren Gracie and Ollie.

Lisa worked many jobs throughout her life, but she was most fulfilled as a homemaker. Though she’d venture out for carnivals, restaurants, BINGO night, and the beach, she loved nothing more than being at home cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her loved ones. Lisa’s laugh filled every room, especially when watching The Three Stooges, Christopher Walken demanding “more cowbell!”, or hearing the giggles of her grandbabies.

A private service will be held at the discretion of the family. Lisa was adamant that people revel in our happiness with the time we have on this Earth, so in lieu of flowers, please make time to do one or all of the following: read a story to the little ones in your life, preferably while they sit on your lap; plant and tend a colorful plant; cuddle the furbabies in your life; create something - anything - that brings beauty and joy to the world; listen to Lynryd Skynryd, Tom Petty, and Bob Seger with the volume turned way up; watch The Wizard of Oz, Tombstone, Scarface, or Mrs. Doubtfire; and most importantly, say “I love you” to the people in your life. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
