Lizzie M. Martin, 81, of 1058 Kramer Mill Road, Denver, PA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 17, 2025.

She was the wife of Aaron Z. Martin. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Martin Hoover.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Black Creek Mennonite Church.

Surviving besides her husband are five daughters, Minerva wife of Samuel Hoover of East Earl, Irene wife of Samuel Hoover of Elkton, KY, Malinda wife of Wayne Martin of Denver, Elizabeth Martin of Denver, Miriam wife of Rufus Hoover of New Holland; six sons, Timothy Martin of Denver, David husband of Linda Martin of East Earl, Nathan husband of Emma Martin of East Earl, Aaron Martin of Narvon, Andrew husband of Martha Martin of Denver, and Phares husband of Lucy Martin of Denver; 57 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; three brothers, Jonas Hoover, Rufus Hoover, and David Hoover all of New Holland; and a sister, Lydia Martin. She was preceded in death by brothers, Henry and Benjamin, by sisters, Anna and Martha and by one grandchild.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 21, at 9:30 A.M. at the Reidenbach Mennonite Church, Martin Road, New Holland, PA with Bishop Nathan Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the late home on Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. Arrangements by the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, PA
