Lloyd L. Huyett

Lloyd Lester Huyett, Jr,84, passed away 12/6/2023 at home. He was born 5/2/1939 in Plowville, PA to the late Rebecca (Fox) and Lloyd Huyett, Sr. He was the husband of Marie (Lapearl) for 64 years. He is also survived by his 6 children: Marie wife of Norm Carpenter, Elsie wife of Dennis Gebhart, Lloyd III(Sonny) husband of Deanna (Starkweather), Abe husband of Tammy (Lush), Chris husband of Jennifer (Martin) and Becky wife of Dave Mead. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren: Reggie Carpenter husband of Kasey(Ganter), Molly(Carpenter) wife of Brian Forkin, Steve Gebhart husband of Corrine(Suk), Lloyd Huyett, IV husband of Beth(Gresh), Josh Gebhart husband of Bridgette(Manwiller), Shana(Huyett) wife of Darren Roe, Melissa(Huyett) wife of Pete Lukich, Amber(Huyett) wife of Mike Wegener, Abe Huyett Jr, Jake Gebhart husband of Alyce(Smith), CJ Huyett husband of Lisa(Myers), and Hunter Huyett partner of Jenny Yocum; and 6 step grandchildren: Ashley(Carl) wife of Christian Siciliano, Brittany(Carl) wife of Drew Fish, Chase Dibble, Grady Dibble, David Mead and Jules Mead. He is also survived by 26 Great Grandchild and 2 Step Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Betty Johnson and Ruth McMullen and 2 brothers: Richard Huyett husband of June (Seidel) and Kenny Huyett husband of Donna (Mallard). He is predeceased by 2 brothers George and James.

Lloyd was employed by Hopewell Furnace National Park for 40 years. He was also the owner of Lloyd Huyett, Jr Garage and a junkyard. He loved cutting wood, mowing grass, playing guitar, hunting, working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a jack of all trades and the first person anyone called when they needed something fixed.

He will be deeply missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 15, at 7:00 P.M. at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, PA. A Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
