Lloyd J. Martin

Lloyd J. Martin, 95, of 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, formerly of East Earl, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Landis Homes after a brief illness.

Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Eli M. and Anna (Esbenshade) Martin. His wife, Mae (Sensenig) Martin, died Dec. 31, 2009.

Lloyd was a retired farmer but he also worked for Morgan Trailer and Conestoga Wood Specialties.

He was a member of the Goodville Mennonite Church where he was a part of the

“Gospelaires.” He also enjoyed softball and other sports along with spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, Brenda, married to Mark Leaman of East Earl, Robert, married to Diane (Sweigart) Martin of East Earl, Ron, married to Ruth (Burkholder) Martin, and Barry, married to Rosie (Gehman) Martin of East Earl; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death is a brother, Lester Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 2 pm at the Goodville Mennonite Church, Main St., Goodville, PA with the Reverend Bruce Sauder and the Reverend Harold Reed officiating.
