Lloyd M. Nolt

Lloyd M. Nolt, 66, of 820 Center Church Rd., East Earl, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital emergency room. His wife of 46 years, Mary Lou (Rutt) Nolt survives.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Weaver W. and Bertha (Martin) Nolt.

Lloyd was a sales representative for Meridian Products, New Holland.

He was a member of Parkview Mennonite Church, Reamstown and had been a Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and being with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children: Dale married to Stephanie Nolt, Ephrata; Cheryl married to Steven Zimmerman, East Waterford; and Darla married to Matthew Martin, Denver; 17 grandchildren; eight siblings: Earl married to Verna Nolt, NY; Irene married to William Nolt, Denver; Bertha married to Melvin Zehr, NY; Janet married to Ivan Musser, Lebanon; Carl married to Mary Nolt, NY; Loretta Nolt, New Holland; Weaver Nolt, Jr. married to Thelma, Mohnton; and Leon married to Karen Nolt, Honey Grove.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Landon Nolt and a sister Marian Zimmerman.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 10 AM at Martindale Mennonite Church with Bishop Nelson Bowman, Rev. Roger Martin and Rev. John Rutt II officiating. Interment will be in Martindale Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday (TODAY) from 2 – 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 – 10 AM.
