Lois A. (Hogan) Keyser, 85, of Morgantown, passed away on December 9, 2023 in her residence.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William Spencer and Margaret Esther (Stolzer) Hogan.
She was the wife of the late Dr. Richard James Keyser, with whom she married on August 15, 1958 and shared 61 years of marriage until the time of his passing on February 23, 2020.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and was a teacher for various school districts. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Chester Springs. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and sewing clothing and was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Lois is survived by her children; Richard J. Keyser, married to Kate Jensen, Phoenixville, PA and Robert D. Keyser, married to Salinda (Seachrist) Keyser, Lititz, PA, two grandsons; Benjamin D. Keyser fiancé of Autumn Andreuzzi and Nathan J. Keyser boyfriend of Alley Stambaugh and her great granddaughter; Nevaeh Keyser. Also surviving are her siblings; Janet Goldenbaum, Margaret Driscoll, Donald Hogan and Eleanor Tait.
A time of sharing will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581. A private interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice.
