Lowell M. Stauffer, 78, of Ephrata, passed away at Fairmount Homes on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Lowell was born in Elverson to his late parents, Richard Stauffer and Ruth (Yoder) Stauffer. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elsie (Moyer) Stauffer.

Lowell was an active member of the Conestoga Mennonite Church, and later Grace and Truth Fellowship, where he supported the ministry in various ways, including teaching Sunday School. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hiking, and playing the guitar and harmonica.
In addition to his wife, Lowell is survived by his children, Christina (Randy) Conover of Lancaster, and Patrick (Erica) Stauffer of Narvon. Grandchildren include Kyla, Adeline, Jethro, Calleigh, Winter and Josiah Stauffer, Becca and Abby Conover. He is also survived by siblings, Julia (Amos) Witmer, Sanford (Ruth) Stauffer, Grace (Ron) DeWald, Loretta (Merv) Esh, Esther (Sam) Wenger, David (Janet) Stauffer and brother-in-law, Rob Gunning. Lowell is preceded in death by his dear sister, Ellen Gunning.
