Luella H. Martin

Luella H. (Nolt) Martin, 101, a resident of Lincoln Christian Home, passed away on June 26, 2025.

Bornin Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Henry M. and Almeta (Heller) Nolt.

She was the wife of the late Harry M. Martin, who passed away on May 18, 2020.

She was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). She was employed by the former Rubinson’s Department Store for 31 years then worked at Achenbach’s Pastries.

Luella is survived by her niece, Dolores wife of Donald Newswanger, nephews, Clydeth husband of Diane Weaver and Dale husband of Brenda Weaver, stepchildren, Gene husband of Cheryl Martin, Joyce wife of Freeland Sensenig, Leon Martin, Anna Frances wife of Darrel Martin, and Glenn husband of Charlotte Martin.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth “Betty” wife of Abram Weaver, nephews Clair Weaver, husband of Betsy and Glenn Weaver, husband of Kay.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Groffdale Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference), 90 Groffdale Church Road, Leola PA 17540 with Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Lincoln Christian Home Chapel, 1307 Apple Street, Ephrata PA 17522.
