Lynne Prugh

Lynne Prugh, 87, of New Holland, formerly of Denver, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Prugh in 2012


Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Stella (Fick) Vrooman.


Lynne retired from the National Security Agency in Baltimore.


She was a member of New Holland Church of the Nazarene. Her interests and generous heart lead her to be involved in Christian world missions and compassionate ministry projects such as Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, The Wounded Warrior Project, Samaritan’s Purse and many volunteering opportunities at Garden Spot Village. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling, reading, history, puzzles, and was a proud Daughter of the American Revolution.


She proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.


Surviving are two children: Kathy married to William Gartner, Newtown, PA and Rev. Dr. Mark married to Holly (Moyer) Prugh, Souderton, PA, two grandchildren: Bethany Creel (Steve), Mt. Laurel. NJ and Emily Oates (Trevor), Lake City, PA and five great-grandchildren: Lilly, Josiah, and Noah Creel and Paxton and Carson Oates.


She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar, Gordon, and Gene Vrooman.
