Mabel L. Martin

Mabel L. Martin, 74, of 319 Orchard Rd., Mohnton, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, N. Eugene Martin.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Jacob G. and Mamie B. (Good) Good.

Mabel worked for Shady Maple Market as a deli clerk for 27 years.

She was a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Joy L. Strothers (James), Bowmansville and Sharon R. Eberly (Merle Z.), Narvon; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and nine siblings: Jacob H. Good (Elaine), Reading; Ralph Good (Dorothy), Bowmansville; Miriam Martin, Lititz; Marian Stauffer (Harold), East Earl; Beatrice Martin (James), Mohnton; Horace Good (Barbara), Mohnton; Mary Jane Martin (Clarence), New Holland; Raymond Good (Naomi), Denver and Lucy Strausser (Wilson), Bowmansville.

She was preceded in death by a sister Grace Martin (Roy).

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 31 at 10 a.m. at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Rd., East Earl with Pastors Larry Weber and Duane Ringler officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday (TONIGHT) from 6 – 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
