Mae E. Weaver

Mae E. Weaver, 91, of Ephrata, died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Fairmount Homes.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clayton W. and Mary E. (Hershey) Weaver.

Mae had been a store clerk at the former Dutch Maid Outlet Store, Ephrata, retiring in 1988. She then worked part-time as a geriatric aide at Landis Homes.

She was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church and was keenly interested in missions.

Surviving is a brother: Lloyd W. Weaver, husband of Vesta Gehr of Ephrata and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five siblings: Esther Hurst, Elva Bowman, Elsie Witmer, Hershey D. Weaver, and Ivan Weaver.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with C. Kenneth Martin and Leon Hurst officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10 – 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
