Margaret A. Weaver

Margaret A. (Stauffer) Parmer Weaver, 80, of New Holland, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at Lancashire Hall, Lititz.

Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Esther M. (Blough) Stauffer. She was married 11 years on Oct. 23 to Clifford Weaver. Her first husband, Richard Parmer, preceded her in death.

Margaret was a longtime secretary at the former Summit Valley Elementary School.

Surviving in addition to her husband are six brothers and sisters, James M., married to E. Sidney Stauffer of Lancaster, Philip Stauffer of New Holland, G. Douglas, married to Linda R. Stauffer of Montclair, VA, Mary A., married to Lester E. Clark of Virginia Beach, VA, Jeffery E., married to Christine Stauffer of Pequea, and Beth E., married to John H. Gehr of New Holland.

Preceding her in death is a sister, Patsy Tshudy; and two brothers, R. Glenn and Jesse B. Stauffer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 10 am at the Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 Market St., Lititz, PA 17543 with the Reverends Steven Rodgers and Bryan Dever officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, New Holland. Viewing will be held on Thursday, at the church from 9 – 10 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lititz U.M.
