Margaret E. Bitler

Margaret E. Bitler, 71, of Akron, died Friday March 25, 2016 at Maple Farm Nursing Center.

Born in Terre Hill, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette (McGowen) and Henry Bitler, Sr.

Margaret had worked with E.A.R.S. and was a member at Ephrata United Zion Church.

Surviving are five sisters: Henrietta (Theda) Gonzalez, Anna Habecker, Dorothy Messner, Jeannette Risser, and Debra (Debbie) Kohl, and her caregivers, Brenda and Gerald Sensenig.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Bitler, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Terre Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jay Showalter officiating. Online condolences maybe posted at www.groffeckenroth.com. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.
