Margaret J. Donovan

Margaret J. (Monappello) Donovan, 91, of Lititz, passed away on September 16, 2025 in her residence.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Clara (Riebel) Monappello.

She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Donovan, with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage.

When she was younger, she worked for the Philadelphia Electric Company and then she was a hairstylist and then was a stay-at-home mom when she moved to Lancaster County.

Margaret is survived by two children: Donald F. Cronin, significant other of Lesley Logan and Valerie Anne Madenford, wife of Charles E. Madenford III, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her sisters, Nancy Cirafisi and Claire Oneill.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Monappello.

A Viewing will be held from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM at Beck Funeral Home, 315 E Main Street, New Holland PA 17557. A brief time of sharing will be held at 12:00 PM before transitioning to the interment at Zeltenreich Cemetery.
