Margaret Mcguiness

Margaret (Petersen) McGuiness, 86, of New Holland, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Garden Spot Village. She was the loving wife of Daniel P. McGuiness who preceded her in death in 2002.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Margaret was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Herrmann) Petersen.

Margaret was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Holland, and volunteered at Garden Spot Village. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Margaret is survived by 4 children: Karen Cranstoun, wife of Derek, Gail Cranstoun, Neil Christensen, husband of Felicia, and Keith Christensen, husband of Laura; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557 with Pastor Chester Yoder officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. Visitation will occur at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 AM.
