Margaret R. Weaver

Margaret R. Weaver, 84, of Morgantown, a follower of Jesus, passed away on Saturday. September 21, 2024 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading.

She was the wife of the late Robert L. Weaver who died in 2021. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Jacob D. and Myrtle I. Peck Schmehl.

Margaret was a member of Terre Hill Bible Fellowship Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years. She was a graduate of Twin Valley High School and had been employed as a tax collector for many years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and being involved in Women’s Bible Studies.

Surviving is a son, Bob husband of Denise Nagle Weaver of Bernville; two daughters, Sandra wife of Roger Foreman of Topsham, ME, and Jennifer Weaver wife of Jonathan Bakdash of Cedar Hill, TX; and 7 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 27, at 5:00 P.M. at Terre Hill Bible Fellowship Church, 407 W. Main St., Terre Hill, PA. A Viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be no viewing prior to the service on Friday, however the family will greet friends following the service. Interment in Caernarvon Cemetery will be on Friday at 2:00 PM. Due to a family member’s allergies, please omit all flowers. If desired, contributions in her memory may be made to the to the Twin Valley Food Pantry or Terre Hill Bible Fellowship Church.
