Margit E. Butler

Margit E. Butler, 68, of 52 Ashlea Gardens, New Holland, died Tuesday, November 22 at Hospice of Lancaster County – Mt. Joy. Her husband, James Butler, survives. Born in Erlangen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Erna Fahndrich. Margit was last employed in the cafeteria of Bishop Shanahan High School. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: William Price, Honey Brook; Gerald Price, Mohnton; Sharleen Spohn, Ephrata; and Howard Price, Jr., Honey Brook; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a brother Gerald Fahndrich, Germany. At Margit’s request, there will be no services. However, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Bonnie’s Believers (a Relay for Life Team), c/o Paula Spohn, 7 Monroe Circle, Ephrata, PA 17522 or to Hospice of Lancaster County, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
